The month of November is peak video gaming season. Publishers put their greatest games to the front of the line, stocking physical and digital stores with the best games of the year. If your pocketbook wasn't already aching from October's bounty, it will be by the end of the month. However, you do receive top-tier gaming fun.

The month of October ended with a flurry of new releases. Bayonetta 3 stormed into the scene, providing arcade-style beat-'em-up action with amazing kaiju-battle dynamics to make the fight fast and intense. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II was also released at the end of the month, providing shooter enthusiasts with one more multiplayer outing before the franchise goes on sabbatical until 2024. We also saw the release of Persona 5 Royal on numerous platforms, as well as the resurrection of Star Ocean with Star Ocean The Divine Force.

Throughout November, there are terrific simulations ranging from slice-of-life farming enjoyment to severe sports team micromanagement. Harvestella, for example, blends the appearance and feel of Final Fantasy with the farm simulation elements of Rune Factory. The month also has a surprising number of action titles. Sony's highly anticipated God of War Ragnarök releases on PS4 and PS5, bringing a climactic sequel to Kratos' sojourn into Norse lands. In it, you use meaty melee-action combat to wreak havoc on magical animals and uncover the truth behind the impending catastrophe.

There are lots of games to recommend, but we've narrowed it down to 11 of the month's most popular. Continue reading to find out which titles made the cut.

Football Manager 2023

Platforms: PC, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S

Release Date: November 8, 2022

Football Manager games are well-known for their extensive and strong management systems. Because of their steep learning curves, they are difficult to break into for casual players. The payoff, on the other hand, is one of the most in-depth sports simulators in the business. It is an annually series, but if you missed all of last year's wonderful advancements, you can enjoy them all again here, with new features including licenced UEFA leagues and a revamped opponent AI.

Play as a goat or a group of co-op multiplayer goats to cause havoc in the fictitious town of San Angora. To earn points and do stunts, use your strangely prehensile tongue to grasp and pull items about, taking use of the game's physics system.
