Activision has come up with a new way to deal with cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone. The company has developed a new tactic called Splat, which can disable a cheater's parachute, sending them plummeting to the ground. Splat can also adjust player velocity, transforming a bunny hop into a 10,000-foot drop, instantly taking cheaters out of the game.

It is important to note that Splat won't turn on for a player who is not verified to be cheating. Activision has implemented machine learning with its replay technology to capture gameplay as video that can be reviewed for cheating. The Ricochet Anti-Cheat system, which includes Splat, will also be part of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.

Activision's new anti-cheat system promises a stronger and faster process to combat cheating in its new title. Earlier this year, the Call of Duty anti-cheat system was upgraded to make cheaters hallucinate as they played via decoy characters added to the game.

It is clear that Activision is getting serious about cheaters in Call of Duty: Warzone. With the implementation of Splat and other anti-cheat measures, players can expect a more level playing field. However, it is important to note that Splat is not a tool for players to use against their opponents. Activision warns that it won't randomly turn on for non-cheaters and player reporting won't activate it.
