Steam users may now remove specific games from their profile completely

They also revised Steam's privacy settings so that users can hide some games on their accounts from other people if they wish.

A blog post unveiled the Private Games function, which will increase privacy and enable Players on Steam to keep any game from anyone but themselves invisible as soon it is added to their shopping cart. When a game has been set to private, the owner of that game as well as each user's in-game status and playtime is obscured from view.

“ This additional control allows you to keep most of your Steam Library visible to your friends, so they can see what you are playing and join in, yet also keep a few of those games just to yourself, " wrote Valve on its blog about it.

Players can make games private by selecting "For my account: A private game list, shopping cart or Steam Client Library.

Valve has already made some improvements to the shopping cart. It just hasn't been provided for everyone in version 1 of the Steam Client Beta yet.

Inline giving enables players to gift multiple friends or books for themselves at one time and online shopping carts have been synchronized. When these features have been thoroughly tested in beta, Valve will probably make them available to all.
